Above: Printing Apex legs and tail. Each Apex Limited 1-35 Pre-Order is printed in four separate print sessions- each several hours long. That does not include the different print sessions for the busts and bust mounts. we just acquired another super hi-res resin printer to help speed things up.
Above and Below: Here is what we have done so far. Getting there.
In this edition of the Asylum I debut the first assembled "Apex Rex"... shown here with lipped mouth open. We are moving right along with production- just printing night and day at this point. The only things left to complete in terms of prep for print are to establish the cut and keys for the lipless heads. We only had one order for lipless, so Javi's will have to wait until last. Sorry, Jav.
Once all of the pre-orders are filled, I will resolve what's left to do in order to fulfill the diorama orders. That basically just includes finishing up some details on "X-Rex", and establishing the cut/keys for it and the diorama base.
Above and below: The first loosely assembled Apex with 1/35 scale ballerina "Gawkers."
