Not her best day.
If you have been following the Apex Rex Saga, and the Ancient Era Artistry "lost Data" saga, you would know that I had retired the Apex Rex diorama because I lost the artwork files for "X-Rex" amongst myriad other artwork files. Well, after I got the news from a recovery service that my files were, in fact, not recoverable, and after crawling back from the edge of a cliff... something extraordinary happened.
I reinstalled the hard drive and tried to back it up with Carbonite- which I had installed on my computer. I had initially tried to back up that drive with carbonite, but since no little green dots ever appeared on my files on that drive (these dots indicate a backed-up file), I had assumed they hadn't been backed up. I intended to call Carbonite about ten months ago to get the files backed up, but that completely exited my mind. I simply forgot to call and never got the files backed up.
Fast forward to several weeks ago when I accidentally re-formatted my hard drive. I thought all was lost, but when I re-installed the blank drive and clicked on the Carbonite logo via a right click, all of my files were ghosted out on the Carbonite backup drive! My Lord did that change the cadence of my day. Long story short, the files had been backing up all along, and Carbonite sent me a new hard drive with all of my info on it. So, drumroll please... all my artwork has returned!
So, I have completed "X-Rex" the adult T. rex corpse designed to illustrate the massive size of Apex Rex. I now have a lipped and a lipless version. So, now the diorama will be back on 9/1/23. You can purchase the entire diorama with lips or without and with an open or closed mouth for Apex Rex.
X-Rex is designed to fit perfectly onto the existing Apex Rex base. The base for the diorama is now the same as the Pre-Production Limited Edition, except for the plaque that denotes it as the limited pre-production version. The plaque is replaced by a rock.
Enjoy a Preorder discount between now and 9/1/23.
